Lakeville police investigating double shooting
LAKEVILLE, Minn. — The Lakeville Police Department is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 2:45 a.m. on Florida Way near Foliage Avenue, just steps from Parkview School.
Two people were brought to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, which police believe are connected to the shooting. Both are expected to survive.
Police say they're "currently interviewing several possible suspects and witnesses," and believe there's no threat to the public.
