MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Meet Taysha!
This caring, joking 11-year-old is battling AML Leukemia at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Taysha loves polar bears and eating as much candy as possible.
Her friends at Afton Lakeland Elementary School put together 'Dear Taysha' with the help of Nashville songwriter, Jeff Dayton. Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley also offered their talents for the song, but the voices come from her 5th grade class.
The song costs just $0.99 on iTunes and all the proceeds will go to help pay Taysha's medical expenses.
