WCCO spoke to some neighbors Monday who live on the street, and they were devastated at the tragedy.

"This is a lovely place to live, and I know that there's a lot going on, and I'm thankful that I've managed to stay safe and that it has remained a fairly safe place to live," said neighbor Laura Stensgaard. "It really saddens me. My heart goes out to the family."

Johnson's family held a balloon release Monday night to celebrate her and her memory.

Police said there was not much known about the shooting, but they have interviewed witnesses.
