You're along for the ride of my landscape project this spring. We just renovated our house and all we have is dirt outside.
The decks began last week and this morning I had the beautiful view of Bobcats tooling around my yard bringing the bricks for the retaining wall.
I'm thrilled with the mess and the mud and the commotion, although I feel bad for the birds nesting in the downed trees in my yard; they'll be "relocated."
I feel worse for the neighbors who are suffering through the noise and mini-monster trucks in our yard. Sorry neighbors, it will all be worth it when we're drinking wine on the patio together.
I'm open to all advice as I've never build a deck or a wall, or a fence before. What's your greatest landscape victory or nightmare project?
