Jon Hamm, MN Sports Stars To Play In All-Star Celebrity Softball Game
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- From Mad Men to Minn. men, actor Jon Hamm is among the first round of celebrity participants announced for the 2014 MLB Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.
Hamm will join Minnesota residents and TV personalities, Andrew Zimmern and James Denton ("Desperate Housewives") and Twins legends Jack Morris and Jim Thome.
Minnesota sports stars Kevin Love of the Timberwolves, Maya Moore of the Lynx, Zach Parise of the Wild and Adrian Peterson of the Vikings have also been confirmed as participants.
The All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game will take place on July 13 at Target Field.
More players from music, TV and sports will be announced at a later date.
The game will be aired on ESPN immediately following the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14.
