John Marshall H.S. In Rochester Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Rochester high school was evacuated due to a threat against the school.

According to John Marshall High School's Facebook page, someone called in a bomb threat to the school Wednesday morning. The school says a K9 unit from the Rochester Police Department was sweeping the building.

The school's Facebook post said all students, faculty and staff were safely evacuated. When rain started falling, officials bused students to John Adams Middle School while police continued sweeping the building.

In a Facebook post at around 11:30 a.m., the school said Rochester Police did not find any evidence that the bomb threat was credible, and students returned to classes.
