Green Party Nominee Jill Stein Visits Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Green Party's presidential candidate made a stop in Minnesota Tuesday night.
Jill Stein took part in a community forum hosted by the north Minneapolis non-profit Neighborhoods Organizing for Change, or NOC.
The forum focused on racial disparities in Minnesota and across the nation.
"This issue of police violence is really just the tip of an iceberg," Stein said. "It is a crisis that must be fixed in and of itself. But in order to really fix this crisis, we have to fix the surrounding crisis that it's a part of."
NOC says Tuesday night's forum does not represent an endorsement for Stein. The group has also invited Hillary Clinton to a similar forum.
