Probation For Iowa Man Who Punched, Robbed His Mom

MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) — An Iowa man accused of punching and robbing his mother has pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors.

Court records say 21-year-old Michael Dalluge was sentenced to two years of probation Tuesday and given a two-year prison sentence that was suspended. A $625 fine also was suspended.

He pleaded guilty after prosecutors lowered the charge to aggravated theft from robbery. Court documents say Dalluge punched his mother in an arm and stole $180 from her on May 18 in Mason City.
