I-35E Closed For Weekend Between I-94, Hwy 36
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A popular stretch of Twin Cities highway is shutting down Friday evening.
Interstate 35E between I-94 in St. Paul and Highway 36 in Little Canada is closed for the weekend, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews are tearing down the Larpenteur Avenue and Gateway State Trail bridges.
It's all part of a project to replace bridges and add a MnPASS lane.
Road work should be done by Monday at 5 a.m.
