I-35 Southbound Reopens In Faribault Hours After String Of Accidents
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Transportation officials say Interstate 35 southbound has reopened after being closed in Faribault due to numerous accidents Wednesday.
According to MnDOT, the closure was between the Highway 60 exit in Faribault and West Central Avenue exit near Medford.
As of 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, the stretch had reopened hours after the closure first began, as troopers had removed vehicles from the ditch.
Traffic cameras at the scene show traffic piled up and at a standstill.
