High School Sports Rally: Sept. 5, 2014
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's starting to feel like fall, and the brisk weather is perfect for football.
On Friday, David McCoy reported on the night's featured game -- Prior Lake at Rosemount. Unlike last week, the results were heavily one-sided. Still, it was a perfect night for playing, as long as you brought along a sweatshirt.
We also had cameras at several games, such as: East Ridge vs. Cretin-Derham Hall, Farmington vs. Burnsville, Providence vs. Minnehaha Academy, Lakeville North vs. Shakopee, St. Paul Central vs. Stillwater, Benilde vs. Chaska, Anoka vs. Blaine, Edina vs. DeLaSalle, and Southwest vs. North.
Also, McCoy met up a player from a school with a long history with athletic success. Let him introduce you to Cretin-Derham Hall's Jashon Cornell.
