MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota announced Monday that sophomore center Amanda Zahui B. was named a Co-Player of the Week by the Big Ten.

Zahui B. averaged 14.5 points, 14 rebounds, eight blocks and 2.5 steals per game over a two-game stretch last. It's the seventh time she's earned a weekly award from the Big Ten Conference.

She had a triple-double of 16 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocks in a win over Penn State on Wednesday. The 12 blocks matched a single-game record in the league and set a new Gophers program record. She became the only Gophers player in program history to have two triple-doubles in her career.
