Gophers Women Win At Wisconsin, 72-60

MADISON, Wis. (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota women's basketball team scored 40 first-half points on the way to a 72-60 win over Wisconsin on Sunday in Madison, Wis.

The Gophers improved to 14-1 on the season, including 3-0 in Big Ten play, with the victory. Minnesota has won 10 straight games, its longest win streak since the 2003-04 season.

Senior Shae Kelley led the Gophers with a game-high 17 points. Amanda Zahui B. added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Carlie Wagner also scored 14 points in the win to go along with four steals, four rebounds and four assists. Shayne Mullaney added 11 points.

Minnesota returns home to face No. 14-ranked Maryland at 2 p.m. next Sunday at Williams Arena.
