Gophers Basketball Announces Big Ten TV Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota announced Tuesday the Gophers men's basketball TV schedule for the upcoming Big Ten Conference season.

Gophers officials said the team will have 15 conference games broadcast on the Big Ten Network. That includes the team's conference opener at Purdue on Dec. 21. Other Big Ten road games that will be on Big Ten Network include Maryland on Jan. 3, Nebraska on Jan. 20, Penn State on Jan. 28, Iowa on Feb. 12, Indiana Feb. 15 and Michigan State on Feb. 26.

Six of the Gophers Big Ten games on the home floor at Williams Arena will be broadcast to a national audience on Big Ten Network. Those include Iowa on Jan. 13, Rutgers on Jan. 17, Illinois on Jan. 24, Nebraska on Jan. 31, Purdue on Feb. 7 and Northwestern on Feb. 18.

The Gophers host Ohio State on Jan. 6 in a contest on ESPN. TV decisions have not been made for three other Big Ten Conference games.

Before conference play starts, Minnesota will have two non-conference games broadcast on Big Ten Network. Those are Dec. 19 against Seattle University and Dec. 27 against UNC-Wilmington.
