MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The Rolling Stones have been touring 53 years, with their first gig was in London in 1962. Over that time, they've joined a small group of artists who've pulled in more $1 billion going on the road.
So, which musical acts have made the most on tour? Good Question.
According to Billboard Boxscore, the Rolling Stones top the list from 1990-2014 with $1.6 billion from almost 20 million tickets.
U2 is right behind them with $1.5 billion and just over 20 million tickets.
