Fundraising Walk Raises Money For Children With Apraxia Of Speech
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A fundraising walk took place on Sunday to raise money for children with apraxia of speech.
There were 22 kids with apraxia at Sunday's event. Apraxia of speech is a disorder caused by brain damage, which causes difficulty producing sounds.
The walk was started in 2008 by a mom who had a son with apraxia. If you'd like to donate, you still can through Monday on the walk's website.
