Franken To Campaign For Clinton In Duluth
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Sen. Al Franken is slated to hold a rally Sunday afternoon in Duluth for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
The Minnesota senator will speak at 2 p.m. at the Kirby Student Center on the University of Minnesota – Duluth campus, the Clinton campaign said.
Franken is expected to talk to students about Clinton's plans to cut back student debt and to build an economy that works for more Americans.
Joining Franken onstage will be Duluth Mayor Emily Larson.
Meanwhile, Republican nominee Donald Trump is slated to hold a rally Sunday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
