MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A former Minnesota Vikings defensive player was sentenced Friday to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to domestic assault, officials say.

Anthony Ray Jefferson Jr., 25, was charged last November after allegedly choking his girlfriend following an argument over text messages.
