74-Year-Old Man Drowns In Forest Lake Pool
FOREST LAKE, Minn. (AP) — A 74-year-old man has died after being found unresponsive in a community swimming pool in east-central Minnesota.
Forest Lake police and firefighters were called Tuesday afternoon to Southwest Junior High for a possible drowning in the community pool located in the school. Emergency personnel arrived and took over resuscitation efforts from school staffers who were at the scene.
The staff had removed the Stacy man from the pool. He was unresponsive and attempts failed to revive him.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
