1 Dead After Falling Off Motorcycle In Forest Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead after apparently falling off a motorcycle in Washington County early Friday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, just before 4:45 a.m., 21-year-old Ena Bhatia fell off the back of a motorcycle driven by 23-year-old Myles Eckman on Interstate 35 near Highway 97.
Bhatia died after falling off the motorcycle, State Patrol said. Eckman was not injured.
Eckman fled the scene and was later taken into custody. State Patrol said they did not know what caused Bhatia to fall off the motorcycle.
State Patrol is currently investigating.
