None Injured In Massive Wis. Nursing Home Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –It took more than 100 firefighters to stop a roaring fire Tuesday at a western Wisconsin nursing home.
A new wing being built on the Glenhaven Nursing Home caught fire in Glenwood City at around 5 a.m.
Residents had to move to a different part of the building to be safe. The side that burned was under construction. The new addition to the nursing home was destroyed, but nobody was hurt.
Firefighters from 20 nearby departments had to be called in to douse the flames.
Glenwood City is about 60 miles east of Minneapolis.
