Fire Damages Coon Rapids Apartment Building

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A fire damaged a Coon Rapids apartment building early Thursday morning.
According to Anoka County officials, just after midnight crews responded to a call of an apartment fire at Pine Point Apartments, on the 10700 block of Hanson Boulevard NW
Upon arrival, crews learned the fire was on the third floor deck of the three-story building. It was spreading rapidly.
The building was evacuated. No one was injured.
Crews are still on the scene putting out hot spots.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
