Fire At Fridley Apartment Building Leaves Several Displaced
FRIDLEY, Minn. (WCCO) -- A fire at a Fridley apartment complex overnight left several people out in the cold.
The fire happened at the Georgetown On The River apartments around midnight. Police and fire from five departments lined the streets while people living there were forced outside.
The Fridley Fire Department said nearly the entire building suffered serious damage, leaving many units unlivable.
The department said no one was seriously hurt, and the Red Cross has stepped in to help.
