FBI Helps With Case Of Murdered Sartell Student
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The family of a murdered Minnesota college student is working with the FBI to find the person responsible.
It will be one year ago this weekend that 18-year-old Tom Bearson was killed in Moorhead. He had just started college at North Dakota State University.
Police have yet to name a suspect or motive in Bearson's death.
Local investigators have met with FBI profilers and other specialists regarding the case in recent weeks.
Bearson's parents told WCCO they have confidence in police and know they are working tirelessly to bring closure for their family.
And they say not a day goes by that they don't remember the pride and joy their son brought them.
