Fatal Head-On Collision In Steele County
OWATONNA, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities say they are investigating a fatal head-on collision that happened at about noon on Monday.
Investigators have not released many details about the incident, but it involved two vehicles driving along Interstate 35. The crash happened near milepost 36, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The State Patrol said that the roadway was closed while investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash. Traffic was being detoured onto County Road 45.
Neither the makes of the two vehicles nor the drivers in either car were immediately reported.
