State Patrol Investigating Fatal 2-Car Crash Near Lake City
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly head-on crash in Lake City.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 61. The State Patrol says 62-year-old Susan Drazkowski of Fountain City, Wis. was killed.
And 8-year-old and an 11-year-old riding with her suffered non-life threatening injuries. The other driver, who was seriously hurt, has been identified by the State Patrol as Takahiro Suzuki.
The State Patrol says it's not known which direction the vehicles were traveling at the time of the crash. The Lake City Police Department and the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office are providing assistance with the investigation.
