3 killed in Kandiyohi County head-on crash

Four people killed in separate Minnesota head-on crashes Sunday

KANDIYOHI COUNTY, Minn. – Three people are dead after a head-on crash Sunday afternoon in central Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened on County Road 23 in Kandiyohi County, between Paynesville and New London.

The driver of the southbound sedan was killed, as were the driver and a passenger of the northbound minivan.

The state patrol says all three victims were wearing seat belts. More information on this crash is expected to be released later this week.

Earlier in the day, one person was killed in a head-on crash in Clear Lake.
