1 Dead, 3 Injured In Wright County Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 52-year-old Annandale woman is dead after a car crash in Wright County Monday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just after 7 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 55 and Oliver Avenue, just west of Annandale.

A Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Susan J. Williams, was traveling north on County Road 3, which becomes Oliver Avenue. She failed to yield to a Ford pickup truck, driven by 62-year-old Scott W. Thompson of South Haven, and crashed.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. Her two passengers, 4-year-old Colten Baxley and 1-year-old Brock Baxley, both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Thompson's injuries are also non-life threatening.

The state patrol is investigating.
