Woman, 25, Killed In Burnsville Crash Wasn't Wearing Seat Belt
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol says a 25-year-old woman is dead after she rear-ended a box truck in Burnsville Monday.
According to the state patrol, the incident occurred Monday at 3:31 p.m. on northbound Highway 13 at Dakota County Road 11.
There, a box truck on Highway 13 was beginning to move forward through the intersection – the stop light had just turned green – when a Toyota Rav4 traveling northbound on the highway struck the truck from behind.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as Shukri Yusuf Mohamed of Burnsville, was killed in the crash. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the state patrol.
The driver and passenger in the box truck were not injured in the crash.
