Family Of Adelle Jensen Wants Closure, Justice
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Family and friends of a missing mother came together Friday to celebrate her life, and to ask for anyone with information to come forward.
No one has heard from 25-year-old Adelle "Addie" Jensen since Nov. 17. Her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Dow, is being held in jail on probable cause of murder. Her family hopes someone can help them "Bring Addie Home."
With each hug, the feeling of loss and unbearable sadness filled the cold air.
"We are here tonight to focus on Addie and to pray for answers. We know someone knows something," Kay Gibbons-Baker, Jensen's aunt, said.
The group came together to remember the daughter, sister and mother.
"Her daughter Chloe was the love of her life. She said being a mom made her the happiest she's ever been," Cinda Jensen, her mother, said. "She loved being a mom more than anything in the world and she was an absolutely wonderful mom."
Jensen loves animals, the outdoors and her family.
"I hate to say this, but in my heart, I know that Addie's at peace now. Even though this is a missing person, possible homicide, I don't think she's on earth here anymore with us," David Jensen, her father, said.
WCCO cameras were at Dow's house Monday night in north Minneapolis as police carried out bags of evidence. Police arrested Dow after the investigation led them to believe Jensen was dead.
"She was struggling with a relationship. Three weeks ago she moved back into our house ... saying that she was struggling and scared," Cinda Jensen said.
Her family pleads for answers so that the depths of their sorrow may find some solace.
"Please help us to bring our Addie home and for justice to be served," Cinda Jensen said. "When I think I will never be able to hold my Addie again, it's just unbearable."
The family created a college fund for Addie's 2-year-old daughter. Click here for information.
The Hennepin County Attorney's Office has until Monday at noon to charge Dow with a crime. Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
