FAA: Teen Started Helicopter At Mankato Airshow
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Federal Aviation Administration says a 17-year-old boy snuck into a Mayo Clinic helicopter at the Mankato Airshow Saturday and started it up.
A spokesperson for the FAA says initial reports stated that the helicopter was started up by a young child, but the Mayo Clinic confirmed the culprit was actually a teen.
The FAA says they do not know who the teen is and have not spoken to him yet.
Mayo Clinic representatives were not available for comment Tuesday evening.
