Man, 34, Drowns At Eden Prairie Community Center
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 34-year-old man drowned at the Eden Prairie Community Center Thursday night, according to a statement from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies first received the call at around 8:30 p.m. Officials said the man had been swimming laps in the pool.
Authorities say bystanders, community center employees and first responders attempted to resuscitate the man but were unsuccessful.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the name and cause of death once the autopsy is complete. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
