Janitor Charged With Secretly Recording Video In Police Women's Locker Room
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Superior, Wisconsin man is charged with secretly recording video of the women's locker room in a Duluth law enforcement building.
Jeffrey Dominick Giacomini, 29, is facing five counts of interference of privacy and two counts of harassment/stalking.
According to the criminal complaint, Duluth police searched Giacomini's laptop and found 20 videos recorded inside the women's locker room of the Public Safety Building on North Arlington Avenue, where he worked as a janitor. Prosecutors say seven different women can be seen on the video changing clothes and walking to and from the shower.
Investigators say Giacomini recorded the video with a hidden camera on a janitorial cart, which he left positioned at a specific part of the locker room, and at times he knew specific women would be using the facilities.
If convicted, Giacomini could face up to 25 years in prison.
