Duluth PD: Pedestrian Killed By Suspected Impaired Driver
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 62-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a driver who may have been under the influence.
Duluth police say the accident happened at about 12:40 p.m. near 40th Avenue East and London Road.
The victim, who was on foot, was hit by a 49-year-old driver and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving while impaired and took her St. Louis County Jail.
The identities of the victim and driver have not been released.
