Driver, 70, Dies In Broadside Crash With Semi
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 70-year-old driver was killed after they pulled out in front of a semi truck in Stearns County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash happened Thursday afternoon along County Road 67 at about 5:30 p.m.
Investigators say that Willetta Stanlake was driving a Chevy Impala and headed south along the road. After stopping at a traffic light intersecting with Highway 23, Stanlake pulled out in front of a semi truck heading west.
The Impala was broadsided, and Stanlake was killed.
The Cold Spring Police Department assisted at the scene.
