Dozens Protest Trophy Hunting With Human Picture Of 'Cecil The Lion'

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Dozens of people decided to lie down to protest trophy hunting on Saturday, creating a human picture of Cecil the Lion.

The event happened Saturday afternoon outside the Conway Community Center in St. Paul. The lion was created by Saint Paul native John Quigley.

It's called aerial art, large works designed to be seen from the sky.

Organizers say they wanted to join the international outcry over the illegal killing of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe by a Minnesota dentist.
