Man Hospitalized Following Overnight Downtown Stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating an overnight stabbing in downtown Minneapolis.
The Minneapolis Police Department says the stabbing happened shortly after midnight near the corner of 4th Street and 1st Avenue North, just a block from the downtown police precinct headquarters.
The victim was transported to a hospital for emergency surgery. As of late Sunday morning, he was in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Police say the victim and a witness were uncooperative with officers, so there is no suspect description.
