Despite Snowy Forecast, Mpls. Schools Don't Anticipate Canceling Class
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Although the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of the state, Minneapolis Public Schools says it doesn't anticipate canceling class.
The district tweeted the message Sunday, along with a news release saying officials do "everything possible to keep schools open."

However, if classes are canceled, the district says it will try to notify parents as soon as possible.
The storm moving into Minnesota looks to drop between 6 and 14 inches on the central part of the state, including the Twin Cities metro.
St. Paul Public Schools said it is monitoring the forecast and will contact families if school is canceled.
