Despite Concussion, Vikings CB Rhodes Could Play Sunday

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes could be back in the lineup this week at Denver, despite a concussion that knocked him out of the second half against San Diego.

Coach Mike Zimmer said Monday that Rhodes was "feeling great" and had already passed one test required for returning to action. Zimmer said he believes Rhodes "should be good to go" to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

Rhodes was hurt in a collision with teammate Andrew Sendejo as they tried to tackle Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen during a touchdown catch in the second quarter Sunday. Rhodes' neck snapped backward, and he was motionless for a bit before slowly rising to his feet and leaving the field.
