Delta Ranks 1st Among Airlines For Beer Offerings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Craft beer is hotter than ever, and now a number of airlines are hopping aboard the trend.
A recent survey from TravelPulse.com ranked airlines by the type of beer they serve on domestic flights. Each airline's beer offerings were matched against the ratings at Beer Advocate, a popular site for users to rate specific suds.
Delta Air Lines landed in the top spot for offering the best-rated and widest selection of craft brews, including Blue Moon Belgian White, Samuel Adams and Sweetwater 420 Extra Pale Ale.
Alaska Airlines came in second.
Spirit Airlines finished in last place. Their offerings are Bud Light, Budweiser, Miller Lite and Dos Equis, with the latter being the highest rated by Beer Advocate users.
