WABASHA COUNTY, Minn. — A Lakeville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in southeastern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 4 p.m. on Highway 60 near County Road 13 in West Albany Township, which is about 16 miles southwest of Wabasha.

Investigators say 36-year-old Jeffrey Patrick Nelson was traveling westbound on the highway when his Victory motorcycle "left the roadway."

Nelson was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash, the state patrol says.

Two other people were killed in a crash Saturday evening on Interstate 94 in St. Michael after two tires fell off of a semi-truck — one of them striking an SUV.
