Deadly crash shuts down Highway 55 near Hastings
HASTINGS, Minn. -- A deadly crash shut down Highway 55 in Dakota County temporarily Friday evening.
The crash happened near Horner Avenue, west of Hastings.
State Patrol says a Kia Rondo was traveling east on Highway 55 when it collided into a Honda CR-V that was going west.
The driver of the Kia, 47-year-old Brian Bigalke, died. The four people in the Honda had non-life threatening injuries.
