Dayton Expected To Return To Work Tuesday Following Surgery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gov. Mark Dayton expects to be back to work Tuesday following his prostate cancer surgery last week.
The governor spent three nights at the Mayo Clinic. He was originally supposed to go home Saturday, but his office tells WCCO the extra night in the hospital was just a precaution.
Dayton, who is 70, revealed his cancer diagnosis a day after he collapsed during his State of the State address in January. His doctors have said the cancer was not related to the collapse.
