Daughter Pleads Guilty Of Helping Dad Dispose Of GF's Body

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A Minneapolis woman pleaded guilty Monday to helping her father dispose of the body of the woman he murdered.

Rachel Lee Thompson, 26, picked up a heavy, smelly container holding the body of Nerissa Shaw from her father's apartment in September 2013, and drove to a wooded area in St. Louis Park, where they dumped Shaw's body behind an industrial business in St. Louis Park. Shaw's body was found two days later.

Thompson pleaded guilty to accomplice after the fact. She will be sentenced March 4 and is expected to receive probation instead of prison time.

Her father, Walter Thompson III, had a lengthy criminal rap sheet, including a history of domestic violence against Shaw. He was convicted and sentenced to 34 years in prison late last year.

Walter Thompson also asked his sister, Senaca Thompson (pictured above, left), to help him dispose of the body.
