Update: Cyclist Injured In Hit-And-Run Still In Critical Condition
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A cyclist injured in a hit-and-run in Dakota County on Tuesday will undergo a critical surgery on Friday, according to his Caring Bridge page.
Bryan Joas was struck on a rural Dakota County road while riding home from work.

Joas is undergoing surgery to remove part of his rectum on Friday morning. His Caring Bridge page will offer updates.
The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the driver in this case.
Authorities initially requested information about a white pick-up truck, but now say that vehicle is not the one they are looking for.
