Crews Search For Missing Man On Lake George

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say search efforts are underway Saturday evening after a man went missing on Lake George in Anoka County.
Deputies responded around noon to a report of a man drowning. Officials say a 53-year-old Oak Grove man had removed his life jacket and was swimming near a boat when he began to struggle before going underwater.
Numerous crews were on scene for an extensive rescue and recovery mission, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
