Crews Fight Fire At Bloomington Condo

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Crews in Bloomington have been working to put out a fire that began early Monday morning.

According to officials, the fire began shortly after 6 a.m. at a condo in the 8700 block of Aldrich Avenue South.

Upon arrival, the 16-unit building was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire chief said all 20 residents  made it out safely, although one person did have to be rescued from a second story balcony. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
