Fatal Crash Closes Highway 65 In Eastern Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A fatal crash closed a highway in eastern Minnesota Friday morning.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred on Highway 65 just south of Grandy, Minnesota near County Road 6.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 57-year-old Blake Hinton was heading north on the highway in a Corvette when he drifted into the southbound lane, colliding with a semi truck head-on.
Hinton was killed in the crash while the 37-year-old driver of the semi suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
