Court Hearing Held For Man Accused Of Killing U Of M Student
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The man accused of killing University of Minnesota student Anarae Schunk is scheduled to have a court hearing Friday.
Shavelle Chavez-Nelson faces first-degree murder charges for the death of Schunk.
Investigators believe Chavez-Nelson and his girlfriend stabbed Shunk to death, and then dumped her body along a rural road in Dakota County.
Chavez-Nelson is currently serving a life sentence in prison after being found guilty in a different murder case.
