Cops Searching For Man Who Allegedly Assaulted Girlfriend

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Roseville police are looking for a man they consider armed and dangerous who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in a hotel in the north metro.

Authorities are seeking 20-year-old Khari Samuel Adams, of St. Paul. Police say he assaulted his 19-year-old girlfriend Friday and brandished a gun in front of others in the Residence Inn Hotel, located on the 2900 block of Centre Point Drive.

The victim and witnesses told police that Adams fled through the hotel. The search for Adams led officers to a nearby business, Symantec Software, where employees reported that Adams might have sneaked into their two-story complex. One employee said that Adams borrowed his cell phone and took off going south down a pathway.

A SWAT team searched the software company for three hours and ordered all employees and guests out of the building. They found no sign that Adams had gotten in.

Still, police are searching for Adams. He is wanted, police say, for felony terroristic threats, domestic assault and other misdemeanor warrants.

If you know his whereabouts, call 911.
